The
8th General Scientific Assembly of the Asia Plasma
and Fusion Association (APFA2011) will be held in
Guilin, China, from Nov. 1st (Tue.) to 4th (Fri.),
2011. The aim of the Assembly is to present the
recent progresses of plasma physics and fusion
energy research in Asia. |

Registration Fee |

| |
The
registration fee is 200 US dollars (or 1350 RMB) for
one person before August 15, 2011. For the late
registration, the registration fee is 255 US dollars
(or 1650 RMB) for one person after August 15, 2011.
Early registration is highly recommended. |

Call for Papers and Submission of Abstract |
|
| |
Participants are invited to submit a one-page
English abstract by July 15, 2011. The online
submission system can be found at
http://www.swip.ac.cn/apfa2011/subm.php. During
the submission of the abstract, you need to select
the suitable category for your presentation such as
the topic and the presentation type. If you are
under 35 years old and would like to compete for the
Young Scientist Best Presentation (YSBP) Award,
please make sure to select the appropriate option. |

author will be notified by email before Sept.15,
2011 when the abstract is accepted. |

Young Scientist Best Presentation (YSBP) Award
|
|
| |
In
order to promote the active participation of young
researchers, the APFA conference committee decided
to award prizes to young scientists for the best
presentations at the upcoming 8th APFA conference in
Guilin, China. |
|

The
participant, who is the first author of the
presentation and under 35 years old, should
indicate, during online abstract submission, whether
or not he or she would like to compete for the Young
Scientist Best Presentation (YSBP) Award. |
