Lecture notes for the 3rd
International Summer School
on Plasma Kinetics

The 3rd International Summer School on
Plasma Kinetics (ISSPK) has been held in Chengdu , China , August
15-18, 2007, sponsored by Southwestern Institute of Physics (SWIP)
and Sichuan University (SCU).
The ISSPK series was establish at
Hangzhou , China in 2005 and the second ISSPP was held at Daejeon,
Republic of Korea . The aim of the ISSPK is to enhance education and
training of young researchers and graduate students, and to promote
exchange of ideas among plasma physicists in the Asia Pacific
region.
The theme of the 3rd International
Summer School on Plasma Kinetics is nonlinear wave-particle
interaction in magnetically confined plasmas.
Here we provide the lecture notes for
students of the summer school and researchers on plasma physics
studies.
