摘   要:In thermonuclear fusion plasmas, heavy/high-Z particles are also called as heavy/high-Z impurities, understanding of the core heavy/high-Z impurities transport, control of their central accumulation and investigation of their impact on the plasma performance are very important for the stable operation of fusion device.
In order to identify the dominant mechanisms responsible for core W transport and control in EAST and CFETR H mode plasmas, the behavior of heavy/high-Z impurity W in the core of hybrid and fully non-inductive plasmas in EAST with ITER-like divertor (ILD) and of phase I plasmas in CFETR is analyzed and modeled firstly. In EAST hybrid scenario, W accumulation is often observed. The dynamics of the W accumulation process of a hybrid discharge are examined consid-ering the concurrent evolution of the background plasma parameters. It is found that the toroidal rotation and density peaking of the bulk plasma are usually large in the central region, which is particularly prone to the W accumulation. A time slice during W accumulation phase is modeled, accounting for both neoclassical and turbulent transport components of W, through NEO and TGLF, respectively. This modeling closely reproduces the experimental observations and identifies the neoclassical in-ward convection/pinch velocity of W due to the large density peaking of the bulk plasma and toroidal rotation in the central region as one of the main reasons for the W.
