摘   要： After general presentation of JOREK code and main subjects of the research the overview of the recent non-linear MHD and kinetic modelling results related to physics of Edge Localized Modes (ELMs) and their control by Resonant Magnetic Perturbations (RMPs) will be presented.  In particular the plasma response to RMPs and ELMs suppression/mitigation by RMPs with be discussed using examples from AUG, KSTAR and HL2A and predictions for ITER. The response of electrostatic Ion Temperature Gradient (ITG) and Electron Trapped  Modes(TEM) to ELMs and RMPs will be presented using example of HL-2A.
